Dr. Shwetha Prasanna, Dr. Gaurang Patkar, and Dr. Suraj Marathe of Don Bosco College of Engineering (DBCE), Fatorda, Goa, participated in the Academic Leadership Programme (ALP) organized by the Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Government of Goa, in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore, from 13th to 16th July 2026. The programme was designed to enhance leadership competencies and strengthen academic governance in higher education institutions.

Over four days, the participants attended interactive sessions on Research and Innovation, Self- Management, Adaptability and Resilience, Education in Artificial Intelligence, Delegation and Organizational Skills, Stakeholder and Risk Management, Leadership and Change Management, Continuous Improvement and Evaluation, Transparent Communication, and Global Perspective. The programme also included a campus visit to IIM Indore, providing participants with exposure to best institutional practices. The programme provided valuable insights into academic leadership, strategic planning, research, quality assurance, and global trends in higher education. The knowledge and best practices gained will contribute to strengthening academic excellence, innovation, and institutional development at Don Bosco College of Engineering.
