About Department

It is a cross-discipline integrated program that explores the exciting interface between Electronics and Computer Science. The course is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is affiliated to Goa University. The course is of 4 years duration, each year consisting of 2 semesters. The sanctioned course intake is 60 . The fields to be explored are Robotics, Augmented and Virtual Reality, Internet of Things, VLSI Technology, Database Management system, Computer Vision, Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

Program Education Objectives (PEOs)

PEO1 Graduates will possess strong foundation in Electronics and Computer Science and adequate skills to solve engineering problems
PEO2 Graduates will pursue higher studies, research and entrepreneurship to provide innovative solutions to solve societal problems and be successful in their career
PEO3 Graduates will exhibit leadership qualities and life skills in lifelong learning
PEO4 Graduates will demonstrate high standard of ethics in professional and social life, contributing to societal and environmental needs

Program Specific Outcome (PSOs)

PSO 1 Students will be able to apply computing fundamentals, algorithms and software engineering principles to develop efficient software and AI-based solutions for real-world problems.
PSO 2 Students will be able to design and implement embedded systems, IoT devices, and communication systems using modern electronics and computing technologies.
PSO 3 Students will be able to develop integrated hardware-software systems by applying engineering principles, creativity, ethical standards, andteamwork to address practical challenges.
