DBCE Emerges Winners at All-Goa Inter-Collegiate Quiz on Solid Waste Management

Students of Don Bosco College of Engineering (DBCE), Fatorda, brought laurels to the institution by securing first place in the All-Goa Inter-Collegiate Quiz on “Solid Waste Management and Its Need” organized by Goa Waste Management Cooperation, Government of Goa, held at the Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI), Panaji.

The quiz witnessed enthusiastic participation from 40 teams representing colleges from across Goa, making it a competitive platform for students to demonstrate their knowledge and awareness of environmental issues and sustainable waste management practices.

Representing DBCE, Rajas Sawant and Yogiraj Sawant from third year Computer Engineering Department displayed excellent knowledge, teamwork and quick thinking throughout the competition. Their impressive performance enabled the DBCE team to advance to the final round.

The achievement reflects the students’ commitment to staying informed about contemporary environmental challenges and highlights the institution’s emphasis on developing students beyond the classroom through participation in inter-collegiate academic and co-curricular activities.
