An Alumni Connect – From Classroom to Career session was organized on 12th August 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda. The session featured three alumni who shared their professional experiences, insights into their organizations, and guidance on transitioning from college to the corporate world.

1. Sanket Shenoy – Site Reliability Engineer, BBD Software (Alumni 2020 – 2024)
Sanket Shenoy, working as a Site Reliability Engineer at BBD Software, spoke about his experiences in college and his transition into the professional world. He shared insights about his company and discussed the importance of internships in gaining practical exposure and preparing for a career.

2. Jayden Gomes – Software Engineer, Ôdasie-Water of Asia (Alumni 2022 – 2026)
Jayden Gomes, a Software Engineer at Ôdasie-Water of Asia, introduced students to his organization and shared his professional journey. He also demonstrated the process of creating a LinkedIn account and highlighted the importance of maintaining a professional online presence.

3. Shaunak Kunde – Junior BI Developer, Remote Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (Alumni 2024 – 2026)
Shaunak Kunde, working as a Junior BI Developer at Remote Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd., shared his experiences related to college life and his career journey. He also spoke about pursuing a master’s degree and provided students with insights into higher education and career development.

The session provided students with valuable exposure to real-world career experiences and encouraged them to make informed decisions regarding internships, professional networking, higher education, and career opportunities.
