Event Schedule : 2.00 to 5.00 pm

On the afternoon of 19 October 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, the students came together for a Dandiya Eve that blended games, music, dance and the colourful spirit of the festive season. The celebration was organised by the Student Council and the Core Committee under the valued guidance of the faculty members of the Cultural Committee. The celebration began gently with a game of housie, which allowed everyone to settle in and share the first happy moments of the afternoon. It then rose to a joyous rhythm as DJ Huntgod, invited from outside, filled the venue with lively dandiya songs, and the students danced with tireless energy from the first beat to the last. Prof. Mithil Parab and Prof. Shruti Jhambhale judged the competitions, and prizes were awarded in six categories: Best Dancer (Male), Best Dancer (Female), Best Group Dance, Best Outfit (Male), Best Outfit (Female) and a special award for Best Dance among the faculty members, who joined in the festivities with great spirit. For the outfit categories, students walked the ramp in their finest costumes, presenting their creativity and style to the judges and a delighted audience. A dandiya-themed photo booth was set up for all the guests, and everyone happily gathered there to capture cherished pictures with their friends in their festive best. Two stalls kept everyone refreshed, one serving cool drinks and the other offering chocolate cake, while water bottles were kept ready behind the stage for all. The programme was hosted with charm and ease by Tabrez Khan and Chirag Naik, and it came to a graceful close with a heartfelt vote of thanks from the General Secretary, Ayyan Shaikh. The Dandiya Eve was a joyful and memorable occasion, and sincere thanks go to the Student Council, the Core Committee, the faculty members of the Cultural Committee, the judges, hosts, DJ and every participating student whose enthusiasm made the afternoon such a success.
