DBCE Secures Second Place at Celestia 2.0

On 22 September 2026, members of Symphonia, the Music Club of Don Bosco College of Engineering (DBCE), Goa, participated in Celestia 2.0 – “Abide in Me,” an all Goa intercollegiate choir competition hosted by Don Bosco College, Panjim. The event, centred on the theme “Abide in Me,” brought together student choirs to celebrate music, faith, harmony and fellowship.

The programme commenced with a prayer service, followed by the announcement of the rules and guidelines for the participating teams. DBCE was represented by two teams from Symphonia, who showcased their musical abilities through well-prepared performances, reflecting their dedication and hours of practice.

The competition provided the students with an opportunity to develop their musical skills and gain valuable experience in a competitive environment. Both DBCE teams performed with enthusiasm and confidence, presenting their interpretations of the theme “Abide in Me.”

Following the final performances, a vote of thanks was proposed, leading to the prize distribution ceremony. One of the DBCE teams secured the Runners-up position, earning Second Place among the 11 participating teams.
