The Welcome and Orientation Programme for the first-year M.E. Computer Aided Structural Engineering students was conducted on 04-08-2026 in the Research Lab at Don Bosco College of Engineering (DBCE), Fatorda, Goa.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome by the Head of the Department, who introduced the students to the Department and highlighted its strengths, achievements, academic facilities, and research opportunities available to postgraduate students.
Mrs. Avila Naik, Examination Officer, delivered an informative presentation on the examination reforms, examination guidelines, and the National Education Policy (NEP) framework. She familiarized the students with the academic regulations, evaluation system, credit structure, and other important aspects of the NEP scheme.

The faculty members handling the M.E. programme subsequently interacted with the students, introducing themselves, explaining the curriculum, course structure, research expectations, and addressing students' queries regarding the programme.
The programme concluded with an address by the Principal, who welcomed the newly admitted students and encouraged them to make the best use of the academic and research opportunities available at the institution. The session ended with a high tea, providing an opportunity for informal interaction among the students, faculty members, and the administration.
